Roll Rubber Mats
Perfectly suited for use inside of industrial buildings, but also easily applicable to several environments, a roll rubber mat can provide a safe surface to walk on in any location that might see hazardous conditions or heavy foot traffic. Because walkways connect different parts of a building, they will often be busy locations which will see more wear and tear than other areas and they are also areas that harbor the most debris. If moisture is ever an issue, then the use of a roll rubber mat is an ideal choice because of its natural resistance to water, which will also help to inhibit the growth of mildew and mold. An anti-slip rubber runner will often come equipped with a richly textured surface that is designed to add traction to rubber’s already naturally high coefficient of friction. Also, regardless of the length of your aisle way, the proper amount of rolled flooring will surely cover the entire area of the surface you intend to protect. But we understand that it can be difficult to resurface areas with unique dimensions. This is why we offer custom mats, which ensure that you get the right quantity of roll rubber mat product. Protecting your floors is a top priority, and we try to make the process as effortless as possible for our customers.
Bathrooms, dining areas, and workstations tend to require a non-slip roll rubber mat to ensure a certain amount of safety because they tend to carry the highest risks. Bathrooms and dining areas can have wet floors, and employees often spend most of their time in their designated areas. For that reason, it may be easy to forget aisles, walkways, or corridors. However, these can be high-risk areas too, and should not be overlooked. According to former Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, “Every year in America, nearly 4 million people suffer a workplace injury from which some may never recover.” This is a staggering number that measures like our custom mats could potentially help prevent by creating a safe and non-slip work floor.
A roll rubber mat can help promote non-slip safety in two ways. Firstly, rubber rolled flooring is a moisture resistant surfacing option. It only takes a few drops of moisture to turn a hard, smooth surface into a dangerous area riddled with hazards. Linoleum, tile, and even concrete can become slippery if moisture or any other sort of residue is present. As a material, rubber has a naturally high coefficient of friction, which means that it inherently enhances traction. This quality, paired with the rich textures that pattern the surfaces of our products, makes something like a long rubber mat incredibly useful for maximizing the safety of the area you resurface. This results in a flooring option that will afford excellent slip resistance. So, by simply placing a long rubber mat in busy aisles, you could help prevent falls and serious injuries. Secondly, rubber offers superior traction-enhancing properties. Because not all falls are due to slips, the texture and friction of a runner mat will also come in handy in the absence of moisture. Grip and texture can help keep people standing should they stumble, trip, or accidently be pushed. Such accidents are more readily seen in high traffic areas such as aisles, halls, or corridors.
Along with non-slip safety, a roll rubber mat can also offer excellent floor protection. Whether your aisle is in an industrial, residential, or commercial location, the protection of your building—both external as well as internal—should be an important priority. It does not matter if you own or rent the building that you are occupying; keeping it presentable and damage-free is an important aspect of safety, as well as of business etiquette. Your roll rubber mat will not just protect employees, guests, and clients—it will also safeguard the structural integrity of the aisle’s original flooring. Much of our roll out mat collection is made, in part, from recycled rubber materials—the source of which is discarded automobile tires. The use of such a strong material source (tires are proven to be capable of withstanding some very abrasive conditions) gives our runner mats amazing resilience, the likes of which is just not seen in many other flooring options. This is a product that will stand up to harsh conditions and will keep up with the wear and tear of foot traffic. And while it will eventually wear out and need to be replaced, it will be a lot less expensive than the repair or replacement of permanent flooring fixtures! Due in large part to rubber’s natural resistance to water and the mobility offered by a roll rubber mat, it is a flooring option that will be remarkably easy to maintain. When installed, a broom is more than enough to sweep away debris, and if your mat is installed in such a way that it can be easily picked up, simply shake it out to clear it of unwanted debris. For more thorough cleanings, a damp mop will clean away any dirt and grime that clings to the roll. If the roll rubber mat is located outside and is fully rubberized then it can very easily be washed off with a hose and left to dry.
Aisle ways are busy areas and construction in or around them can usually mean a slowdown of the day’s events and even productivity. Therefore, replacement of permanent flooring structures can be very disruptive to a business or industry. Fortunately, that is not something you will have to worry about with a runner mat! Rubber flooring rolls are incredibly easy to install, requiring very little technical knowledge—very simply, all that is required is rolling the mat out and placing it appropriately along the aisle you wish to cover. And because this flooring option is available as custom mats, which can be cut to the appropriate lengths that are necessary (up to 50 feet), nearly any corridor, hall, and aisle way can be afforded protection.
Easy to maintain and easy to replace, our durable and hardworking roll rubber mat options offer both non-slip safety and floor protection. Rubber is the ideal material for creating rubber mats due to its natural traction-enhancing and protective properties. Using a roll rubber mat is a great investment to make for any business, home, or industrial location. Again, there are many reasons for why a roll of rubber flooring is the ideal product for these places. Rubber flooring is incredibly resistant to moisture, impacts, and abrasions. It is much cheaper than other floors to repair or replace. And it is highly DIY-friendly, making installation effortless.

Zcycle Recycled Rubber Floor Installation
As we previously noted, many of our rolled rubber matting options—like our “Elephant Bark” series—are made of recycled rubber materials. These types of rubber are recycled from discarded car tires, which has a number of benefits. First, this practice minimizes the amount of harm we inflict onto the environment. Because car tires are made of non-biodegradable rubbers, they usually end up in landfills once their lifespans end. Recycling them into flooring is a way to reduce the amount of waste created by discarded car tires. Second, using recycled rubber helps us keep our prices low. It costs less to manufacture recycled—rather than non-recycled—rubber into finished products. And our competitive prices actively reflect these savings, helping us to bring you quality flooring at the best prices possible. And third, because car tires are designed to withstand some of the harshest outdoor conditions, it should come as no surprise that our rubber flooring made of recycled rubbers inherits those same properties. These properties include resistances to moisture, abrasions, impacts, and sunlight—all of which make for extremely durable flooring.
