Unmatched Resistances: Custom Cut Elephant Bark is made 83% of recycled or reclaimed rubber materials which has been repurposed from discarded car tires. Car tires are built to endure some of the toughest outdoor conditions, including abrasion, impacts, and inundation. Thus, because our Custom Cut Elephant Bark is made mainly of recycled or reclaimed rubber, they inherit many of the properties that make car tires so durable. This resilient flooring is highly abrasion resistant, impact absorbent, and water resistant, making your Custom Cut Elephant Bark an extremely resilient rubber floor for your applications.

User-Friendly Rubber Floor: Custom Cut Elephant Bark is exceedingly DIY friendly, especially since we have taken care of the cutting process for you. These sheets and rolls of rubber are very simple to install yourself. Once you’ve received them in the desired dimensions, all you need to do is lay the flooring out according to your space’s plan. Then, adhere the flooring to your space’s subfloors using an adhesive that matches how permanent you intend the application to be—double-sided carpet tape works well for more semi-permanent applications, whereas one of our recommended liquid adhesives works great for permanent installations.

Permanent installations:

Elephant Bark Rubber Flooring can be permanently adhered to a hard subsurface using Chemrex® CX-941 Adhesive.
Temporary Installations:

This rubberized flooring is generally heavy enough where its own weight will keep the roll on the ground. A 10ft length of 3/8 inch weighs about 80lbs. In order to keep the edges and entry points from being a trip hazard, double sided carpet tape can be used for a quick uniform and level installation.
Indoor/Outdoor:

The high content of EPDM, a UV stable elastomer, in Elephant Bark makes this product ideal for indoor and outdoor applications.
Cleaning:

This product can be cleaned using any everyday household cleansers or cleaning implements. Indoor cleaning involves a broom, damp mop, or a vacuum. For outdoor cleaning a water hose, leaf blower, or broom is sufficient. If desired, a mild detergent can be used to sanitize the surface.
Sustainable Floor:

This product is made from recycled waste tires!!! Over one quarter of these currently end up in landfills. What better idea could possibly exist than converting these same spent rubber tires into a surfacing product to beautify your floors?
Custom Cuts:

Elephant Bark can be purchased in any length up to 50 continuous feet in half-foot increments. It is available in 48 inch widths but the length is a function of your needs and requirements. We will custom-cut this rubber floor to fit your specifications.
